The week before CL2025, the International Summer School in Forensic Linguistic Analysis (ISSFLA 2025) will take place at Aston University from Tuesday 24th - Friday 27th June 2025.
Founded in 2000 by Professor Malcolm Coulthard, the International Summer School in Forensic Linguistic Analysis addresses topics pertaining to the role, shape, and evidential value of language in legal and forensic contexts.

7th - 11th July 2025, University of Birmingham
The week after CL2025, the 9th University of Birmingham Corpus Linguistics Summer School will be held in person on the University of Birmingham Edgbaston campus. It will consist of synchronous and asynchronous elements. The synchronous sessions will take place from 7 to 11 July 2025. Prior to the synchronous part, participants will be expected to complete asynchronous online activities consisting of self-study video lectures and hands-on materials.
The University of Birmingham Corpus Linguistics Summer School is open to undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral students, as well as researchers who want to improve their skills to apply corpus methods in their own research.

The week after CL2025, the Poetics and Linguistics Association Annual Conference 2025 (PALA 2025) will take place at Aston University from Wednesday 9th - Saturday 12th July 2025. This is preceded by the PALA 2025 Summer School in Digital Humanities (Monday 7th - Tuesday 8th July).
The conference theme is Digital Stylistics, exploring the relationship between stylistics as an academic discipline and various kinds of digital texts, tools and practices.
